Our Past, Present and Future
ACI was founded in 1998 by William Borgsmiller with the desire to create an organization that fueled his passion. As both a licensed pilot and mechanic, he lived and worked out of a small hangar with a Piper Seneca III that served as the company’s first charter aircraft.
Today, ACI employs over 60 people, and operates a fleet of mid-size private jet aircraft out of a multi-million dollar facility. Although ACI has grown by leaps and bounds, the fundamental passion for excellence and unparalleled work ethic remains unchanged.
Looking forward, ACI has started construction on what will be one of the nations largest “Green” (LEED Certified) aviation facilities. The new modern facility will be complete with a refined 22,500sf central facility and a 33,800sf main hangar and shop area. Sustainable design features include water efficient landscaping, innovative wastewater technologies, integrated solar collectors, modern environmental systems, and energy efficient lighting.
