Aviation Consultants, Inc. (certificate W9BA551H), located on the Central Coast of California in San Luis Obispo (KSBP) continues to provide the highest level of customer safety aboard their aircraft. In so doing, ACI has trained all flight crew members in accordance with the American Red Cross CPR / AED and First Aid for the Professional Rescuer.

American Red Cross first aid training for the Professional Rescuer provides the knowledge to manage sudden illness and the skills to care for a variety of injuries. Professional Rescuers are trained to assess the victim’s condition more effectively and take appropriate actions, which include caring for life-threatening conditions. Their care often provides a critical transition between a lay responders initial actions and the care provided by more advanced medical personnel.

“We realize that the critical moments following an in-flight medical emergency must be dealt with swiftly and precisely,” said Scott Heavers, ACI’s Chief Pilot. “We would like our passengers to feel like they are in capable hands regardless of whether it involves flying the aircraft or responding to unforeseen medical events. At ACI, we believe that this type of training should become the standard for the industry.”
